ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

A Research Conference is organized by the Law Alumni Association of the Department of Law at the University of Jaffna. This Conference aims to serve as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality, peer-reviewed submissions, encompassing a wide range of scholarly works such as articles, comments, case notes, and book reviews.

The primary objective of the Conference is to foster the dissemination of critical, interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of law, with a particular emphasis on nation- building endeavors.

By promoting the study of law, the Conference aims to cultivate socially sensitive individuals who recognize the law as a fundamental component in social reform and nation-building processes.
