Clash of Minds 2023: University of Sri Jayawardenapura Debating Competition<\/strong><\/p>

We are thrilled to announce the resounding success of the English, Sinhala, and Tamil debating teams from the University of Jaffna in the prestigious Clash of Minds 2023, organized by the University of Sri Jayawardhenapura. The event witnessed intense debates, fierce competition, and brilliant displays of intellect. The English Debating Team, along with Team A (Sinhala) and Team Nagaaidham (Tamil), showcased their exceptional debating skills and emerged as frontrunners in the challenging contest.<\/p>

English Debating Team – University of Jaffna:<\/strong><\/p>

The English Debating Team of the University of Jaffna exhibited their outstanding oratory prowess and analytical abilities throughout the competition. Comprising talented individuals, they passionately advocated their viewpoints, capturing the attention and admiration of the judges and audience. We proudly congratulate the following participants who contributed to the team’s remarkable achievement:<\/p>

Under the guidance of their coach, Chathura Wijesekara, the team showcased their dedication and determination, resulting in a well-deserved runner-up position. Their victory was hard-fought, as they successfully outperformed the debating teams representing the Medical Faculty of the University of Peradeniya, Sri Jayawardenapura Medical Faculty, and the University of Colombo.<\/p>

Sinhala Debating Team – University of Jaffna:<\/strong><\/p>

Team A of the University of Jaffna’s Sinhala Debating Team demonstrated exceptional skill and eloquence in their debates, earning them a spot among the top six teams. We commend the following individuals for their stellar performance and contribution:<\/p>
